Guided by many years of experience, Traderina's milling
operations produce the finest rice available, 7 days per week, 24 hours per day.
We process our rice into several milling degrees and provide our customers with
a wide variety of packaging options. Our family of rice products includes basic
dried rice products, flavored rice mixes, custom rice blends and our own brand of
specialty rice products.
Every package of Long Grain White Rice is filled with long slender kernels,
polished to perfection so they cook up separate, light and fluffy. We put the same
care into our medium and short grain rice products so you can provide rice with
confidence to your most discriminating customers. Cooks who know prefer our rice
for it's superior appearance, texture and cooking characteristics.
Our mill operators carefully remove the outer hull and personally grade the
finished product by comparing the color of the kernels with strict quality control
standards. These hourly tests ensure that our brown rice has the characteristic
tan color and nut-like flavor that sets it apart from the rest.
Our Long Grain Parboiled Rice has been soaked, steamed and dried at exacting
temperatures and under carefully controlled processing conditions to produce firmer,
more separate kernels with maximum nutrient retention. Our Parboiled Rice always
cooks up fluffy and light, with superior texture and flavor.
This high quality rice has a rich dark color with a chewy texture, roasted
nutty flavor, and soft white center. Loaded with protein and nutrients and naturally
low in fat and high in fiber, it is parboiled for cooking consistency.
The bran layer of the scarified brown rice kernel has been scratched to allow
faster water absorption, reduced preparation time and greater cooking consistency.
Scarified brown rice is lighter in color and is often used for specialized blends
because of it's faster cooking time.
Jasmine Rice, sometimes called Fragrant Rice, is a long-grain variety of rice
that has a nutty aroma and a subtle and pandan-like flavor caused by 2-acetyl-1-pyrroline.
Our Jasmine rice has origins in Thailand. The grains will cling when cooked, though
it is less sticky than other rices as it has less amylopectin.
